These Terms & Conditions explain how purchases and use of the Mostly Mint website are handled. Please read them carefully before placing an order and retain a copy for your reference.
1. Introduction
These terms apply to your use of the Mostly Mint website and purchases made through it. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
2. About Mostly Mint
Mostly Mint is a curated vintage and thrift clothing store offering vintage, pre-owned and often one-of-one garments. Our selection is intended for customers who appreciate clothing with individual character and history.
3. Use of the website
You must use the website lawfully and provide accurate information when interacting with us. Do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access or submit fraudulent orders. If you are not legally able to enter into a purchase agreement, a parent or guardian must make the purchase on your behalf.
4. Product information
Product pages may include photographs, descriptions, measurements, size information, condition information, colour information, brand information and other relevant details. Review all available information carefully before purchasing. Contact us before ordering if a detail important to your purchase is unclear.
5. Vintage and pre-owned products
Our products are curated vintage and pre-owned items. They may have characteristics associated with age and previous use, including minor fading, texture changes, minor wear and other characteristics visible in photographs or disclosed in the listing. Customers should not expect every vintage garment to have the characteristics of a brand-new item. This does not excuse undisclosed significant defects or an item materially different from its description.
6. Sizing and measurements
Vintage sizing may differ from modern sizing, and labelled sizes may vary between brands and eras. Measurements provided on the product page should be your primary sizing reference. Compare them with a garment that fits you well rather than relying solely on the size label. Customers are responsible for checking measurements before purchasing. Small measurement variations may occur depending on how a garment is laid out or measured.
7. Product condition
Review the condition description and photographs together, including any disclosed marks, wear, repairs or other characteristics. Pre-owned condition should be assessed in light of the specific listing, not an assumption that the garment is new. If you believe the item received has an undisclosed significant issue, contact us with your order details and clear photographs.
8. One-of-one products
Many Mostly Mint products are one-of-one, meaning there may be only one unit of that particular item available. An identical replacement may not be possible. Once another customer has successfully purchased an item, it may no longer be available.
9. Product availability
Availability can change quickly. Viewing an item or adding it to a cart does not guarantee its availability. If an inventory error affects your order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate resolution, including repayment of amounts collected for an item we cannot supply. We will not substitute another product without your agreement.
10. Pricing
Prices on the website are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR). Prices may change without prior notice before an order is placed. The price applicable to an order is the price shown when the order is successfully placed, subject to obvious pricing errors. Applicable shipping and other disclosed charges are shown separately during checkout. If an obvious pricing error affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding with a corrected amount; we will not charge an increased amount without your agreement.
11. Orders
Before placing an order, verify your selected products, measurements, delivery details, contact information and checkout total. Successful order placement records your purchase request. If we cannot fulfil an order because of an availability error, payment issue or another legitimate fulfilment problem, we will contact you and resolve any amount already collected for products we cannot supply.
12. Payments
Payments are processed through the payment methods made available by our Shopify store. You must provide accurate payment and checkout information and be authorised to use your chosen payment method. Payment processing may be subject to the provider’s own terms and verification requirements. Do not send payment credentials or sensitive card information by email.
13. Cash on Delivery
Cash on Delivery (COD) is available subject to availability for your order and delivery location. COD requires a ₹250 prepaid COD shipping/handling charge. The remaining product amount is payable at delivery. Review the payment breakdown displayed at checkout before placing a COD order, including prepaid charges and the amount due at delivery.
14. Shipping
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Estimated delivery is 3–5 business days after dispatch. These are estimated timeframes rather than guaranteed delivery dates; carrier delays, holidays and circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery. We will help investigate reported delivery issues.
Shipping is a flat ₹100 per order, regardless of the number of products purchased in the same order. One item costs ₹100 shipping; two items cost ₹100 shipping; three items cost ₹100 shipping. The shipping fee does not increase based on the number of products. The COD prepaid charge described above must also be reviewed in the checkout payment breakdown.
15. Discounts and promotions
Buy 2 eligible products and receive 10% off. Buy 3 or more eligible products and receive 15% off. The 15% discount takes priority over the 10% discount. Discounts do not stack.
The percentage discount applies to eligible products or the eligible product subtotal, not shipping. Shipping remains a flat ₹100 per order. Any promotion-specific eligibility requirements will be stated with the offer. Review your order total before completing checkout.
16. Returns and refunds
All sales are final. Mostly Mint does not accept standard returns or refunds, including for change of mind or fit preferences where the item matches the listing. Customers are responsible for reviewing photographs, descriptions, measurements, sizing and condition before purchase.
Exceptional issues may be reviewed if you believe the item received is significantly different from the listing or there was an error by Mostly Mint. Contact mostlymint.archive@gmail.com with your order details, an explanation and relevant photographs so we can assess the issue and discuss an appropriate resolution. This final-sale policy does not exclude any remedy required by applicable law.
17. Cancellations
Orders cannot be cancelled at the customer’s request after they have been placed. This applies to both prepaid and COD orders. Verify all product and checkout information before completing your order. This policy does not restrict any cancellation or repayment rights that apply under law, or prevent us from resolving an order we cannot fulfil.
18. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for checking the product listing and measurements, providing an accurate delivery address and reachable contact details, using an authorised payment method and being available to receive delivery. For COD orders, you must pay the amount due at delivery. If you notice incorrect order information, contact us promptly; changes may not be possible once processing or dispatch has begun.
19. Intellectual property
Mostly Mint’s branding, logos, original photographs, graphics, written content and other original website material are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without permission, except where permitted by law. Third-party brand names and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Listing a branded pre-owned product does not by itself imply affiliation with or endorsement by that brand.
20. Website content
We aim to present useful and accurate website content. Product colours may appear different depending on lighting and screen settings; this does not remove our responsibility to describe products accurately. General editorial or styling content is for information and does not replace the details of the specific product listing. Website access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons.
21. Third-party services
The store may use third-party services, including Shopify, payment processors, shipping providers and other ecommerce technology providers. These services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Review any applicable terms when using those services. Their involvement does not remove Mostly Mint’s responsibilities to customers under applicable law.
22. Errors and inaccuracies
Occasional typographical, pricing, inventory or product-information errors may occur. We may correct errors and take reasonable, appropriate action where necessary. If an error materially affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer to explain it and discuss a resolution. We will not use this provision to impose undisclosed charges, retrospectively alter an agreed order without consent or withhold repayment for products we cannot supply.
23. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mostly Mint is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use or a purchase, such as losses unrelated to the ordinary personal use of the purchased garment. We are not responsible for delays or interruptions outside our reasonable control, but will take reasonable steps to assist with affected orders.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing removes applicable consumer rights or our responsibility to provide goods that correspond to their description and to address issues for which we are legally responsible.
24. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time by publishing a revised version on the website. Changes apply prospectively. The terms presented when you place your order apply to that order, unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed with you. Review the current terms before each purchase.
25. Governing law
These terms and purchases from Mostly Mint are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the courts or consumer dispute-resolution forums having jurisdiction under applicable law. No particular city or exclusive court jurisdiction is designated by these terms.
